DESCRIPTION:
For those of you who cannot make the trip to DC for the giant march and rally on the same day: "The Stark County Peace Coalition will be having a march in Canton. The march will be this Saturday, September 24th, at 1:00pm. We will march along in the area of West Tuscarawas Street and Whipple road, in the area of Canton Center Mall and Walmart, and Fishers. The plan is to organize and start from the corner of Whipple and Tusc, in the parking lot of the mall. We will then march across Whipple to the Country Fair Shopping Center, then go along Tusc. to the post office, and then go across Tusc, to in front of the Walmart, and then march back along Tusc. to the starting point. This is one of the busiest intersections and roads in Stark County, especially on a Saturday afternoon with all the Walmart, Fishers, and Mall shoppers. This will give us huge visability. The area is flat and there are plenty of sidewalks to march along. I am asking that as many of you bring signs, as possible, with the message to Bring Home the Troops. That is the key message that Cindy and her supporters want us to put out. This is not an anti-George Bush rally and march, but a Bring Home the Troops and Stop the War Rally. We need as many supporters to come as possible."
