The Northeastern Ohio Anti-War Coalition (NOAC) invites you to attend a holiday season anti-war rally and march at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 20 at the Westside Market Park on the corner of W. 25th St. and Lorain Avenue. The rally, which is sponsored by NOAC, is a call to end the U.S. military and corporate occupation of Iraq and to bring all troops home immediately. This event marks a return to the site of NOAC's first anti-war action on November 16, 2002.
The rally program will feature family members of soldiers who are presently serving in Iraq or who have been killed in the conflict. Other speakers in the program, which will include local media commentators, activists, musicians and poets, will address the domestic and international repercussions of the occupation as well as an Arab-American perspective on the current situation in the Middle East. A march through the W. 25th St. neighborhood will follow the rally.
