notes from the august meeting (aug 1) on website issues
ok, things i did 2nite after the meeting:
1. i changed the background color of the "Latest Newswire article photo video audio" links to the same background color (orange) as the "About Us Contact Us Subscribe Calendar Publish themes" links bar... here's how i did it:
i logged into "admin", then i clicked on "CSS,INCLUDE, TEMPLATE" which took me to the "Include, css, template managing" page... the "Latest Newswire article photo video audio" links are available for editing in the include file "media_key.inc"... so i clicked on "media_key.inc" which took me to the editing page... then i changed the "table" tag from:
<table width="112">
to:
<table width="112" class="bgnavbar">
...then i hit "save" and it was done... simple
2. then i changed the "index_left.inc" file the same way and added a link to "CleIMC Radio":

...then i hit "save" and it was done... simple
please remember to be careful with editing files, they make live changes to the site
3. also, andy... here is html to use on the RNC feature for all articles with IMAGES:

ok, these are things i still need to work on:
4. still need to add the "minical" to the front page
5. still need to add a "comments" link to the production features template
6. still need to increase the number of articles in the "right hand" newswire on the front page
