DON'T JUST VOTE, RESIST > > There will be several marches to choose from, ending > near the debate at Euclid and Adelbert, where a > protest sponsored will be held at 7:30 PM. Full event > details, plus maps of different gathering sites are > available at http://www.kleveland.org. > > MARCH 1. > "We are number 1 (in poverty)...are any of the > candidates offering any plan for the millions of > out-of-work and underserved in the country?" > > 6:30- Gather at E. 120 and Euclid, near rapid stop. > 7:00- March to protest site. > > MARCH 2. > "End the Occupation of Iraq, Bring the troops home > now." > > 6:30- gather at Intramural Fields on East Blvd. across > from Wade Oval, rally followed by a short march. > > MARCH 3. > "The Gender Bloc -- neither candidate has addressed > lesbian/gay/bi/trans or women's issues adequately"
> > 6:30-Gather at Harmony Park on Bellflower Rd. between > the Steiner House and Wolstein Hall, march to follow. > March 4 - Potential Green Block > All marches converge for a protest at 7:30 at > Euclid and Adelbert. For more info go to > http://www.kleveland.org Who we are: Residents and activists from Ohio and beyond
demanding substantial change from our
"representatives".
What we're going to do: Four feeder marches with four specific themes and march and meet at the Oval and from there head to Euclid for a rally/party. PLEASE support the feeder
marches instead of going directly to the
main protest area.
When: Meet up at 6:00, march at 7, get to main protest on Euclid by 7:30.
Where: Case Western Reserve Univ. Campus
Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH
Why: Because voting is not enough. We must demand change of policies, not people. If
not, we must create change and represent
ourselves.

I guess I don't need to know what's going on anyway. I wish I had a decent news source, tho. Maybe IMC can fill the gap?? :/ That is, as long as IMC doesn't post just links and instead posts content...
