WHAT: Serving as guardians of wealth and privilege at the VP debates, the Billionaires for Bush will sweep through the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) free speech zone, the political rallies, and other scheduled actions to lend support to our dear friend Dick Cheney, while also putting a local spotlight on the concerns of the super elite.
WHEN: Tuesday October 5, 2004, 6:45 p.m.
- Grand arrival to the CWRU campus student and community free speech zone at Euclid Avenue.
- Pre-debate rally at the Cleveland Children’s Museum, 10730 Euclid Avenue.
- Post-debate rally at the Oval Ellipse, University Circle between the Cleveland Museum of Art and Botanical Gardens.
WHY: The Billionaires for Bush are campaigning to re-elect the Bush/Cheney team to ensure the continued domination of the middle class by the wealthiest one percent. The Billionaires are working for the concerns of the extremely rich that include continued relaxed regulations on billionaire-owned energy companies and prolonged tax cuts.
PHOTO OPP: Billionaires dressed to the nines in tuxedos, fur, and evening gowns cheering slogans and making champagne toasts. Signage will include “Hands Off Halliburton”, “Cheney is Innocent!” “Leave No Billionaire Behind”, and “We are all in this together, sort of”.
