Please forward widely and make YOUR plans for resistance on Inaguration Day! January 20th Ohio Must Shout to the World... NOT OUR PRESIDENT! NOT IN OUR NAME! We will NOT let Bush accept his 2nd term without a thunderous NO! of opposition The world needs to hear that people in this country will not acquiesce to these crimes committed in our name. On January 20th join with millions of people across the country to let out a thunderous No! to Bush and all he stands for. It must be made clear that Bush does not speak or act in the interests of the great majority of people here and around the world. There will be a major national protest in Washington DC as well as local protests. Resistance on Jan 20 must break out of the usual bounds of protest and be visible throughout society.
Wherever you are and Whatever you are doing at NOON Jan 20...STOP! At the moment Bush is "sworn in," join with other and go to an intersection near you. Yell out a resounding NO! together with millions across the country. In Cleveland, converge at 4 pm at Public Square in front of Tower City. Speak Out and make some noise! Bring pots and pans, noise makers, signs, voices and spirit of resistance with you. Other things to do on January 20: * Be part of the National Walkout on Inauguration Day http://www.consensus.net/walkout.html * Participate in the Not One Damn Dime campaign. On Jan 20, you take action by buying nothing; you open your mouth by keeping your wallet closed. * Massive "Not Our President" poster campaign. Get posters up EVERYWHERE.
