Initial photos from last night's "Night of Ferocious Joy;" cultural resistance on the eve of the 2nd anniversary of the US war and occupation of Iraq.

Here are some quick photos. The evening was filled with creative culture and resistance. Poets, musicians, spoken word, banner making, local art and outrageous anti-war posters made by children and adults. Over 15 groups set up literature tables, vegetarian food was served, and it was a large crowd. Afterwards, some of the attendees boarded the bus to the anti-war protest in NYC.
