Neo Nazis to March in Toledo! : Cleveland IMC (((i)))

The Neo NAZI National Socialist Movement will be marching in North Toledo, apredominantly black and polish neighborhood on Saturday oct. 15. The time is not yet specified. They have a chapter here with 2 members,but haven'tbeen active til recently when alocal white man allegedly had confrontations with black gangs and shot at them! This looks like it wil be Big! On one of the members websites http://www.overthrow.com it mentions that Matt hales World Church of the creator will be there as well as Blood and Honour USA skins! We really need people to come down here and resist these fuckers! There are reportedly already nazis here being housed by racist locals and walking around trying to recruit residents! Anti-Racist-Action are a pack of Commie vandals posing as heroes.

They claim to oppose racism, but their real purpose is to disrupt any legal gathering, protest, or any objection to Leftist or Israeli parades, marches, and events by instigating riots. They function on a passive aggressive principle. When unable to provoke their targetted opponents they throw things at the police, hoping to instigate mass arrests and event-disrupting tear gassings. Then they do an Indymedia reportback because they are, of course, friends and acquaintances of IMC.

They pose as an unrelated and objective third party. This is laughably incompatible with their profile and organizational beliefs:

ARA began as an antiracist skinhead organization but became a gay-transformist race marxist club much like the Dead Kennedys. They use the specter of racism as a hype to exert social control on various public and private institutions and to excuse their idiotic and destructive behavior. Like 1960's panhandling gone awry, this is protest gone awry.

ARA hypocritically organize as anarcho-communists yet (like Scientology) threaten lawsuits when described unfavorably by outsiders or when their relationships to local communist bookstores are reported. In this and in membership criteria and action they are censorious.

When they are not stalking, they base their planning on information or brokerage provided by racial defense groups such as Hatewatch, SWC, ADL, SPLC, or Political Research Associates -- groups with an intelligence agency dual function. *(This is referenced at the end of the article.)

ARA Structure:

ARA's structure is a campus-fed anarcho-communist club organized in cells. These cells organize and start riots and author content claiming to be an oppressed dissent group if not a minority group by reason of their beliefs and ideals. They alternately bill themselves as an "anti-fascist" organization, which means they are like Spartacus or any militant communist group. They are communitarian in the gang sense of the word, organizing mobs to flyer various towns in response to perceived offenses which may -- but rarely do -- include the random posting of a lone racist photocopy in town of no consequence.

The average ARA member and cell is anonymous, autonomous, cowardly (brave only in a group), internationalist and anti-nationalist youth oriented, violent, dependent upon Indymedia and on racist gatherings for venue. They wear many layers of clothing even in the hot summer to hide their skinny bodies and needle marked chicken bone arms. They only act tough in person when they outnumber their opponents 10-1, and even then they run when confronted. The everyday working person looks at them in digust and laughs at the very sight of these pathetic losers.

Well, it looks like cleveland imc will have to deal with idiot skinheads for a minute until the Toledo protest is over.

You know, just when you really need a laugh, here come the nazis. This post is hysterical. My favorite part is the Dead Kennedy's reference! Priceless! ARA is nothing but Jello Biafra followers...I'm gonna use that one....

The funniest part is that they're stupid enough to think we're pro-Israel. I guess they've never visited IMC before (including our own Cleveland feature about ethnic cleansing in Palestine). Of course, they would have to actually read an article, and we all know how much nazis like reading (assuming there's a literate nazi somewhere).

You actually made Dawn and her merry group of Nazis look like the peaceful protestors. I didn't see any skin heads starting fires and robbing liquor stores did you? First of all, "Dawn" is not really a "Dawn". It is one of the many fake names being used by the neo-nazis currently bombarding this website. Don't feel like you should take them seriously or respond to their hate. Yes, they do wish slavery still existed. That's a given. They're nazis!

Secondly, are you really surprised the protest resulted in violence? If 15 people escorted by cops marched through Little Italy chanting "Italians are inferior and should die", there would be a riot. Same thing for any particular neighborhood. This is particularly true in a poor black neighborhood. Most black people live in poverty because of racism (past and present), and so it's not surprising they respond to white supremacists by saying, "Fuck this. White people get all the privileges, and now they're marching through our neighborhood to tell us how inferior we are?" It makes it much easier for black people to see ALL white people as racist, and thus, "Fuck them. I'm stealing their shit". This is exactly why the Nazis, or any hate group that advocates racial superiority, should not be permitted to protest (or at least not with police protection). It is all too easy to respond to hate with hate, especially when the people are already poverty stricken.

Finally, as far as "no skinheads were being violent", are you serious? Mking, they're NAZIS. They advocate slavery, murder, genocide and facism. They don't have to break a window to be the most violent people there. If they had enough people, they would have started killing every minority they saw. The shit coming our of their mouths and what they represent is FAR more violent than anything rioters did.

Let me put this in words you might understand: If Osama Bin Laden held an "I hate Americans" rally in New York City, and New Yorkers broke out into riots, would you describe the New Yorkers as "violent" and Bin Laden as "peaceful"? Of course not! Why not? Because rioters were responding to the uber-violence of Bin Laden, just as the Toledo residents were responding to the uber-violence of Nazis.

The fact that your comment focuses more on criticizing the response to Nazis instead of criticizing the Nazi march itself definitely makes me reevaluate my opinion of you (and not for the better). I guess I expected too much from you. The whole point of the Nazi march was to prove how "violent" black people are, and you're feeding into their bullshit hook, line and sinker. Second, the riot starting because of the actions of the "peaceful" protestors feeds the fire these idiots are trying to burn. They received 100 times the coverage they would have received because of the actions of a few idiots. And I am sorry but the argument of "what did you expect?" because of the neighborhood they walked through is B.S. The Klan staged a rally in Cleveland in the late 90's. Many African American groups as well as local activists showed up to PEACEFULLY protest and guess what happened...NOTHING. Ten people in sheets looked like idiots standing on court house steps and after a short time when they realized they weren't going to start a riot or get a huge rise out of the crowd they packed up and left.

In 1993 the same thing took place in Painesville (Lake County, OH). Nazis and Klansmen staged a rally in the town square. Painesville has a large African American and Hispanic popultion that lives near the center of town. Anti-hate groups rallied at the Lake Erie College campus and we marched to the square to protest. We protested for about an hour with large groups of local Hispanic and African American citizens. Once again, no riots, few if any arrests, and when these idiots realized they weren't going to get a rise out of anyone THEY LEFT. In Toledo the so called peaceful protestors failed the people they were supposedly defending.

Bad example bringing up Little Italy. As I recall during an anti-war march a few years back the local community was not happy all of you showed up in their community. During the march a local who was fed up took matters into his own hands, clocked one of you, and screamed for you to leave. The people at the time who were involved in the march and visited this site cried for weeks about the incident. So now 2 1/2 years later was the Little Italy citizen justified in his violence because he didn't want you in his neighborhood and didn't agree with your anti-war message? I think not!

Nobody cares about the nazis. So what if they got some extra coverage because of that, its not going to result in anything and they know it. And if it does we will just have to keep fighting them with militant action, just like we did in Toledo. We will allways outnumber them.

The riot was not about them. They left after 5 minutes or so. This was about something else. It was about and against the state and class society. Something that that community feel the sting of everyday and something that is a much bigger problem than some obscure nazigroup wanting to have a meaningless demo.

That day that community came together as a real community. That day they united and directed their violence towards their true enemies - the police, the state and class society. This can have a very positive effect on that community, and i for one applaud it.
