As part of the US Labor Agaisnt the War National Conference about 350 union members, local anti-war activists, anarchists, anti-imperialists, liberationist, and some/all of the aboves marched in cold but crisp weather to make a clear statement to stop the USA's war of invasion & occupation of Iraq.
(yes, you can be a union member and an anti-imperialist, liberationist, ....... at the same time.)
At the rally which followed, a string of labor speakers denounced the war and the evil Bush regime.
It was good to see the labor movement starting to return to its natural role as a fighter for liberation.
