Madeleine Albright who with William Cohen was driven off
campus by the superb organization of Ohio State students
when she was advocating more violence in the Middle East
during the Clinton administration has been touring with the Clinton campaign.
On March 1st, Kim Gandy the president of NOW at an Akron Clinton rally said the
war in Afghanistan was over, This is news to the women men
and children who have been killed by cruise missiles and bombs
this week. NOW's president believes force is justified in
Afghanistan, which shows how out
of touch with the women of the world the group has become.
Also at the rally was Stephanie Tubbs Jones, a representative
who has voted for war appropriations.
Women need to know that Hillary Clinton was a lawyer (as well
as a board member) for WalMart, defending their glass ceiling
for women, that women as well as men have a right to
be protected from bombs, and that women animals who
make up 100% of egg factory farms, have been sacrificed in
the trillions by Don Tyson, biggest butcher in the country, hirer
of undocumented workers (slaughterhouses have the most
turnover of any occupation),
whose lawyer was Hillary Clinton.
No questions were allowed of Chelsea Clinton, neither by
the press nor the audience.
In 1851 Sojourner Truth attended a women's rights conference
in Akron Ohio. Just 30 miles away is Oberlin College, first
American college to end discrimination against women
and African Americans.
